Pink Martini blends influences from classical chamber music to Cuban & from French music halls to foreign films, resulting in a dynamic frenzy of percussion, brass, strings & lyrics that span the continents. The !Portland Cello Project' goal is to expose people to new music through the cello, to support local musicians who otherwise wouldn't be able to afford to hire an orchestral accompaniment to support their talent and to make Portland, Oregon the cello capital of the world.
